How does an implant work?
A dental implant is an artificial root that is inserted into the jaw to replace the root of a natural tooth. It is then used to anchor replacement teeth such as crowns, bridges or dentures, leaving you with natural looking teeth that are so secure, you will forget they are not the ones that you were born with.
With good after care and oral hygiene, implants can last a lifetime.

Oral Surgery
In some instances patients may need oral surgery prior to implant treatment taking place. This could be for a number of reasons such as ensuring the bone structure is sufficient to support an implant. This will be established and discussed at your initial consultation.
